Head of Payer Partnerships & Growth
ABC Labs is looking for an exceptional Head of Payer Partnerships & Growth
ABC Labs is a technology-native care provider, diagnostics lab, biobank, and research organisation. Creating unified, exponentially improving, public health products
We are innovating at the frontier of diagnostics by combining software, robotics, data science, medical consultation, lab automation, and operational excellence to create end-to-end products that span the entire spectrum of user needs — and become exponentially more efficient over time.
Founded as an impact project during the pandemic, ABC grew into Sweden’s largest COVID-19 testing lab, conducting up to 28% of national testing under public health contracts exceeding $180 million. Our R&D efforts have led to three national screening programs and nine publications.
We are now applying this infrastructure to a new frontier: substance abuse testing at workplaces — a complex, highly regulated, and fragmented value chain growing at >10% CAGR across Europe and the U.S., and in urgent need of scalable, intelligent solutions.
Mission
Drive ABC’s global growth by aligning our drug testing platform and future health-risk products with payors whose core business depends on reducing operational and accident risk from substance use.
You will define the structures, partnerships, and evidence that make ABC’s drug testing platform the inevitable choice in risk underwriting, policy design, and claims management.
What you’ll do
--> Identify and build partnerships with insurers, reinsurers, and risk pools in industries most exposed to substance-use-related risk (shipping, aviation, logistics, offshore energy, construction, public sector).
--> Embed ABC’s solutions into policy structures and risk models — from premiums to compliance frameworks.
--> Frame and validate clear value propositions:
--> Standardised results across global sites
--> Faster results at lower administrative cost
-->Real-time tracking and predictive analytics
--> Co-create studies and products with insurers to generate the data they lack and establish ABC as the reference in policy design.
--> Scale adoption with blue-chip brands and regulators until ABC is recognised as the industry standard.
You are
--> Experienced in insurance, reinsurance, or large-scale employer health economics.
--> Skilled at bridging actuarial logic, policy design, and commercial growth.
--> Capable of negotiating at the C-suite and board level of global insurers and multinationals.
--> Entrepreneurial and data-fluent, excited to help make ABC’s platform the backbone of global workforce safety.

About ABC Labs
ABC was created in spring 2020 in direct response to unprecedented challenges of the covid 19 pandemic and grew into the largest pandemic lab conducting up to 30% of total testing with public health contracts exceeding USD 180 million and R&D that led to three national screening programs and 9 publications. Now, we are deploying that infrastructure to the highly regulated, highly complex, and fragmented value chain for substance abuse testing at workplaces that is growing at more than 10% CAGR across the EU with need for increasingly sophisticated and scalable solutions to meet its challenges.
